We were delighted to catch up once again with Dr Emanuele Bartoletti, this time about plans for this year’s Corsica Medical Summit.

We understand you are the new Course Director for the Corsica Medical Summit 2026; what led you to become involved in the conference?
My involvement in CMS Esthétique Corsica comes from a shared vision with the organising team: to develop a truly international, high-level educational platform dedicated to aesthetic medicine and aesthetic surgery, with a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient safety.
I am also particularly pleased that this edition includes a scientific partnership with the Italian Society of Aesthetic Medicine (SIME), of which I am President. This collaboration reflects our common commitment to evidence-based practice, structured education and ethical standards in aesthetic medicine.
I have been working in aesthetic medicine since the late 1990s, including the use of botulinum toxin since 1997. Over these years, I have seen how our field has matured, becoming more scientific, more anatomical and more patient-centred. When I was invited by Frédéric Braccini to serve as President of CMS Esthétique, I saw an opportunity to contribute my experience and help shape a congress that reflects this evolution, because we have the same vision for aesthetic medicine: evidence based, clinically rigorous and ethical.
Can you tell us a bit about the themes and potential highlights of the event?
CMS Esthétique Corsica 2026 will address some of the most relevant and forward-looking topics in contemporary aesthetic medicine. Key themes include regenerative medicine, thread lifting, volumetric repositioning of the lower face, and advanced facial anatomy. One particularly engaging highlight will be the Boxing Ring session comparing surgical and medical rhinoplasty, guided by internationally recognised experts to help clinicians choose the safest and most effective treatment strategies. A dedicated session on complications will underline the importance of safety, risk management and clinical responsibility – essential pillars of modern aesthetic practice. In addition, we will present the latest updates in facial and body aesthetic surgery, alongside medical aesthetic innovations.
Are there any speakers that you personally are particularly looking forward to listening to?
What I value most is the overall quality and international diversity of our faculty. We will welcome speakers from Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Asia, each bringing different perspectives shaped by their own clinical experience and medical environments.
This international exchange is fundamental. It allows us to compare approaches, refine techniques and broaden our clinical vision. For me, these moments of professional dialogue are often the most enriching aspect of any congress.
Would you encourage aesthetic doctors as well as plastic surgeons to attend the conference?
Absolutely. CMS Esthétique Corsica is designed precisely to bring together aesthetic physicians and plastic surgeons in a shared educational space. Today, aesthetic medicine is inherently multidisciplinary. Understanding anatomy, regenerative strategies, neuromodulation and surgical concepts enhances everyone’s practice. Whether your background is medical or surgical, the congress offers practical knowledge, scientific depth and clinically applicable insights. That’s why I invite not only plastic surgeons and aestetic doctors, but any other specialist who is part of the multidisciplinary unit of aesthetic medicine.
And finally, are there any social events for delegates to look forward to?
Yes, and they are very much part of the CMS experience. Ajaccio offers a remarkable setting, especially at this time of year. After full scientific days, delegates will have the opportunity to enjoy Corsica’s natural beauty, its sea and its unique atmosphere.
