Photo-ageing, pigmentation, acne or rosacea can all have a significant impact on self-confidence and the overall quality of life.

BioRePeelCl3 is a patented biphasic technology product based on 35% trichloroacetic acid, which allows safe and effective redermalisation and skin rejuvenation when combined with the Advanced Regenerative Esthetics Solution (ARES) mesotherapy line. It is a minimally invasive procedure with very little or no visible exfoliation and no post-procedure recovery period. Even though the patient is not likely to experience visible skin peeling, the active ingredients are working on a cellular level. The therapy is appropriate for the treatment of most common skin conditions such as rosacea, scars, pigmentation, photo and chrono-ageing. A universal treatment plan and combination procedure was developed to ensure maximum efficacy without compromising patient safety. The innovative formulation makes this product appropriate for all Fitzpatrick types and can be used in all seasons, as the product does not cause skin photosensitivity.

Three case studies of BioRePeelCl3 and ARES combination protocols are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness in the improvement of skin quality and elasticity, significant reduction in lines and wrinkles and reduction of pigment and acne, based on the clinician and patients’ observed improvements in the quality of the skin.

All patients were satisfied with the treatment results, and evidence obtained suggests that the peel can be effectively used as a stand-alone treatment as well as in combination with mesotherapy using the ARES line.

Case 1

Aesthetic problem:
A 56-year-old patient who described her skin as problematic, with visible pigmentation lines and wrinkles.

Treatment plan:
Following the consultation, combination treatment with ARES AA Anti-Age mesotherapy and BioRePeelCl3 was planned. The procedure involved the application of the peel along with mesotherapy microneedling. Three sessions were performed with a 14-day gap in between each. The patient experienced gentle exfoliation after the first procedure. Pigment reduction, improvement in skin elasticity and reduction of fine lines and wrinkles were visible and noticeable after just one treatment. The protocol will be repeated every three months to maintain the results.

Case 2

Aesthetic problem:
A 32-year-old patient with uneven skin tone, fine lines and wrinkles especially in the periocular area.

Treatment plan:
Three procedures were performed with a 14‑day gap in between each.

  • First procedure: application of BioRePeelCl3 and microneedling treatment using ARES AA
  • Second procedure: application of BioRePeelCl3
  • Third procedure: application of ARES AA microneedling treatment.

The first visible results were noticeable at 14 days after the first procedure. The patient’s skin improved significantly as a result of the treatment plan, with pores and wrinkles reducing.

Case 3

Aesthetic problem:
A 30-year-old patient suffering an acne outbreak after a laser hair removal procedure.

Treatment plan:
Three procedures performed with a 10-14-day gap in between each.

  • First procedure: BioRePeelCl3 topical application
  • Second procedure: BioRePeelCl3 FND followed by ARES AO microneedling treatment. Application of BioRePeelCl3 Body on the inflamed lesions
  • Third procedure: microneedling using ARES AK.

Visible improvement was noticed after the second treatment. The patient’s skin condition improved significantly after the complete protocol. There was a noticeable skin rash reduction and a lack of appearance of new inflammatory lesions.

BioRePeelCl3 or microneedling with ARES will be performed once every three months to maintain the result (products are chosen based on the patient’s skin needs).

Conclusion

This article aims to demonstrate the efficacy and safety of use of BioRePeelCl3 and ARES mesotherapy line in combination treatments. New technologies like BioRePeelCl3 and ARES, and a combination of advanced techniques with new protocols of application contribute to ‘healthy ageing’, playing a significant role in prevention, regeneration and improvement in a patient’s quality of life and self-confidence.
