ASLMS Annual Conference 2023

The ASLMS Annual Conference is the premier international meeting in the field of medical laser and energy-based technologies. Each year attendees convene to share research, education, and new ideas that promote high standards of clinical care in the field. In 2023 the Annual Conference will take place in Phoenix, Arizona.

A robust offering of educational sessions will be balanced with special events and receptions. Over the course of four days, the latest advancements in the field will be presented in the form of abstracts, cutting-edge presentations, and clinical application workshops. In addition to the educational programme, the conference features exhibits, industry sessions, and special events in the evening where attendees can relax and network with their peers.

New content this year focuses on increasing the diversity of the audience. Plastic surgeons will benefit from a workshop on Integrating Lasers and Energy-Based Devices into Plastic Surgery. In the Best of LSM workshop, a diverse group of Lasers in Surgery and Medicine journal authors will present top studies published in the renowned journal. The programme features a stronger emphasis on the treatment of skin of colour. Also new this year is a hands-on device session, Evolving/Emerging Technology: Device Demonstrations.

A comprehensive track for early career attendees includes Fundamentals of Lasers for Clinical Applications (pre-conference, separate fee), Mini Introduction to Lasers, Early Career Clinical Pearls, and the Early Career Abstract Session. Attendees can network with luminaries in the field at the Early Career / Leadership Networking Reception.

Industry partners will conduct Laser Learning Labs in the Exhibit Hall, providing attendees a hands-on opportunity with the devices. The devices will also be highlighted through industry-sponsored power hours and showcases.
