The DASIL World Congress is the flagship meeting of the Dermatologic Aesthetic Surgery International League, a global non-profit society committed to advancing excellence in dermatology, aesthetic medicine, and surgery through education and international collaboration.
Now in its 13th edition, the congress returns to South Africa for the first time since 2012, welcoming over 1000 delegates and more than 180 international speakers to Cape Town. With three days of lectures, symposia, and demonstrations, the 2025 programme reflects the evolving landscape of both medical and aesthetic dermatology.
This year’s programme covers a broad spectrum of topics, including psoriasis, vitiligo, pigmentary disorders, skin cancer, acne, paediatric dermatology, hair restoration, injectable treatments, regenerative medicine, energy-based devices, and dermatologic surgery techniques. A full day is dedicated to anatomy education and the event also features the DASIL Scar Free Initiative emphasising DASIL’s commitment to global mentorship and impact.
The congress aims to foster open dialogue, practical learning, and professional exchange in a welcoming and international environment. As with previous editions, attendees can expect a highly interactive programme and the opportunity to connect with peers and experts from around the world.
