The 41st ASLMS Annual Conference

The ASLMS Annual Conference is considered the premier international meeting in the field of medical laser and energy-based applications. Each year attendees convene to share research, education and ideas that promote high standards of clinical care in the field. In 2022, the ASLMS Annual Conference will be held in San Diego, California.

This year’s programme features a dynamic, fast-paced format. Over the course of three days, the latest advancements in the field will be presented in the form of abstracts, special presentations, cutting edge sessions, and clinical application workshops. In addition to the educational sessions, the conference features exhibits, industry programming, and special events in the evening where attendees can relax and network with their peers.

Our goal for ASLMS 2022 is to deliver unparalleled content. The conference will have two plenary sessions, each highlighting cutting edge technologies and high-profile keynote speakers. There will also be two Tech Connect sessions. These non-CME sessions allow speakers to freely make recommendations on their favorite treatment protocols and devices. The sessions attract a wide audience and typically result in lively debates.

Hundreds of abstracts will be presented in the clinical applications, basic science, and emerging technologies categories. Attendees can choose from a variety of workshops; this year features a series on optimising outcomes. Topics include laser and energy-based treatments for body contouring, skin tightening, combination with topicals, scars, vascular and pigmented lesions, tattoos, hair, patients with skin colour, neck and periorbital rejuvenation, plus difficult cases from the audience with a panel of experts and laser treatment of medical conditions (non-cosmetic). Additional workshops on core clinical concerns include anaesthesia and pain medication, complications and legal issues, laser safety, and office practice management.

As part of the conference, industry partners will conduct Laser Learning Labs in the Exhibit Hall, providing attendees a hands-on opportunity with the devices. The devices will also be highlighted through industry-sponsored presentations, workshops, power hours, and showcases.
