Diana studied English Literature and Cultural Studies at the University of Birmingham and, since graduating, has held various roles within medical publishing, first in Birmingham and now in Edinburgh, where she has lived since 2011. As Editorial Coordinator, Diana is responsible for the editorial aspects of both Eye News and The PMFA Journal, working with editors, authors and the in-house team to make sure every issue provides the perfect balance of education, information and entertainment. Though the office is her usual environment, she can occasionally be found at ophthalmology and plastic surgery conferences convincing innocent trainee doctors to write articles and agonising over the perfect tweet. When not correcting bad grammar, Diana enjoys bracing walks on cold Scottish beaches, drinking pretentious craft beer and reviewing restaurants for a local foodie mag.
